No Choice

No Choice

I have no choice
I must go up
I must see with my eyes
the grey and blue skies
it’s a blood-red bourbon-type die
whispering softly
reminding me why

it’s ponderosa and pinon
all feeling just fine
getting lost in a dream
I’ll bet you know what I mean
things get so real mighty fast
no longer faulting you
for wanting it to last
dear friends fall away in the end
what’s become of the Love we once had
sharing bedroom and bath
heart smiles and laughs…
